The Master Blaster Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar turns 37 on Saturday(24th April), while also marking 20 years of his presence in international cricket. Master Blaster Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar who debuted in 1989 as a 16-year-old has come a long way since then and has broken almost every cricket landmark imaginable.

Mumbai Indian Captain Sachin, who has lead his team to to the finals for the first time, is also the top scorer in the tournament. Sachin Tendulkar has been in top form in IPL 3 and hopes that his team wins the final on the April 25 and gives him the perfect birthday gift.

The iconic batsman has made 570 runs in the 14 matches he palyed in IPL 3.
Tendulkar became the first batsman to score a double century in an ODI match. The innings was against South Africa in Gwalior this year.

Between December's visit to Bangladesh and the February home series against South Africa, Tendulkar wielded his bat like a magician to rake up five centuries in four Tests, including four on the trot.

  •  He was involved in an unbroken 664-run partnership in a Lord Harris Shield inter-school game in 1988 with friend and team mate Vinod Kambli.

  •  Highest number of Test centuries(47), overtaking Sunil Gavaskar's record (34) on 10 December 2005 vs Sri Lanka in Delhi. Ricky Ponting has 39 centuries to his credit and Brian Lara has scored 34 Test Centuries
