The former Bond girl gushes about Bollywood after filming Kambakht Ishq with Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor

When Denise Richards was asked to describe her recent Bollywood experience, she gushed: “Bollywood is so unexpectedly awesome!” The former Bond girl and Wild Things hottie has just completed a role in Kambakht Ishq, which was filmed in Los Angeles. Richards co-stars with Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor in the romantic action flick, with Sylvester Stallone roped in for a cameo.
Producer Sajid Nadiadwala confirmed that it was difficult to get the Hollywood actress to accept the part: “It was a task just getting her to read the script. She sat on it for three months.”
The sexy, former wife of Charlie Sheen is now a Bollywood convert. “It would have been my loss if I had lost this role. I am now looking forward to coming to Mumbai for the premiere.”
Richards is not the first foreigner to dabble in Bollywood. She joins Emma ‘Baby Spice’ Bunton (Pyar Mein Twist), Alice Patten (Rang De Basanti), Toby Stephens (Mangal Pandey – The Rising) and Ali "Heroes" Larter (Marigold) who have all starred on the Bollywood big screen.
